High Technology In Your Home.
Honeywell's Ultraviolet (UV) Air Treatment Systems zap
mold spores and certain live, airborne bacteria passing by the
lamp to prevent them from being re-circulated into your home's
air. The shortwave lights, similar to those used in hospitals,
laboratories and commercial kitchens, are easy to add to your
existing heating and cooling system. Plus, the long-life lamps
are easy to replace when needed.
Kill most germs before they
re-circulate
Return-air duct
models. Mounted in the ductwork of your heating and cooling
system, the Ultraviolet Air Treatment System continuously emits
ultraviolet (UV) energy that kills a high percentage of airborne
bacteria passing by the light. Honeywell uses special UV lights
that don't produce ozone, unlike most UV products.
Prevent mold spores from growing on your system's cooling
coils
Coil irradiation model. Mounted above your central
air conditioner's cooling coil, the Ultraviolet light
continuously bathes cooling system components with mold stopping
UV energy.
Specially designed for maximum performance and safety
UV Air Treatment products by Honeywell feature a unique design
with a patent pending lamp drive system for maximum performance,
a special safety design that won't let bulb light unless
properly mounted to the duct, and a special light pipe to safely
view the bulb operation.
The Honeywell UV
Air Treatment System can kill up to 87% of certain airborne
bacteria* in the air passing through your heating/cooling
system, reducing the presence of these harmful agents in the air
your family breathes.

shows a single-pass kill rate of serratia marcescens bacteria in
a clean metal 12"x25" duct at an airflow of 2000 cfm using new
lamps.
